In this course, we will spend Saturday and Sunday primarily focused on the following topics:
Identifying spring blooms
Identifying and tasting wild edibles
Learning the medicinal use of multiple plant species
Exploring tidepools (low tides expected)
Wildlife Viewing (e.g., maritime birds, porpoises, whales, and harbor seals)
Primitive fire-making techniques
Campfire Cooking
We may also have an opportunity to view bioluminescent algae along the coast!
