“Whether you’re new to gardening, or just want to learn new methods of growing food, let’s get started with the basics! We’ll begin at ground level by looking at soils from clay to compost. You will learn how to do a field soil test, and have the opportunity to assess soils from your own yard…bring a sample (or two!). Next, you will identify aspects of your growing space and determine the best design for this season, and beyond! The class covers planning, design, material options, weather, & microclimates.
