The Anacortes Lions Club is inviting community groups to enter into the fun on Saturday, December 2nd, for our town’s annual Lion’s Walk With Santa Holiday Parade for 2023! Parade start is 11AM
~ Parade participants are asked to decorate trucks, floats, cars, and walking groups in fun holiday garb and parade up Commercial Avenue to start the joy for the winter season.
Participants are to assemble on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, around 10 AM at 3rd and O avenue in different areas, depending on the type of entry –
● Lining up on Commercial and 2nd/3rd St – Flag Bearers, Town Crier, Mayor & Santa’s Car near 3rd with Emergency Vehicles & Classic Cars lining up down Commercial to 1st Street
● Lining up on 3rd between Commercial & O Avenue – Lion’s truck, Choir and Marching Band on south side with Refinery, Firetrucks and Emergency vehicles on north side
● Lining up on east side of 3rd and O Ave – Floats, Vans with passengers, Walkers and others
● Lining up on 2nd St near Cortland Rope – Equestrians and horse
carriages
PARADE will start at 11AM and proceed up Commercial Avenue from 3rd to 10th Street, go west on 10th Street crossing O and N Avenues to disburse once past the Library parking lots
