American Red Cross
The Anacortes/San Juan Islands Red Cross covers all of Fidalgo Island and most of the San Juan Islands. We are responsible for over 34,000 people and respond to a family disaster like a house fire or a regional disaster like an earthquake. We provide imediate relief such as shelter, food, and clothing or any other item that may be needed, like prescription medication or food for pets.
The Anacortes/San Juan Islands chapter recieves no funding from the National Red Cross or the Federal government. We depend on local families, businesses and corporate donations.
