If you’re wondering if nature school could be right for your family, or if you’re simply looking for a way to get outside with your little one, come join Forest Educator Beck in the Anacortes Community Forest Lands with your pre-preschooler for Small Wonders!
We’ll take a nature walk, hear a story, and use our senses to observe nature. Small Wonders helps children develop a sense of comfort while in the outdoors and helps caregivers observe and nurture their child’s curiosity. Together, we’ll all delight in the natural world.
You are welcome to bring a snack for your little one to eat on the trail, but please do not share food with others during this time. During the hike, wearing masks (2 year-olds+up) will depend on current state regulations and possible surges of Covid-19, so be prepared to mask up if needed. We will still socially distance on the trail, refrain from sharing materials, and have each family fill out a Covid-19 attestation form at the beginning of the program.
Small Wonders is designed for babies in carriers, early walkers, and toddlers 3 years and under. Caregivers are required to attend and be fully present throughout the class.
