First Friday Art Walk

May 6, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Anacortes, WA

Join us for The First Friday Artwalk on Friday, May 6 from 6pm – 8pm.

404 Commercial Avenue, Joanie Schwartz Glass
Joanie Schwartz Glass is a working teaching studio where the art of glass fusing is made and taught. Come by and see the multitude of techniques that this creative art offers for both the novice and experienced. JSG offers a wide variety of other hand-created work from artists here in the PNW and around the country, most of whom are women. You’ll find nothing imported.

419 Commercial Avenue, The Majestic Inn & Spa
The Majestic Inn spotlights oils by Dedrian Clark and watercolors by Suzanne Powers. Clark’s body of work is inspired by her favorite trees: redwoods, oak, eucalyptus, and madronas. Powers’ celebrates the rocky shores and beaches of Fidalgo Island and the Oregon Coast.

420 Commercial Avenue, Scott Milo Gallery
We welcome a variety of new artists to the gallery including landscape oils by David Marty, Patricia Clayton, and Karen Bakke, floral watercolors by Catherine James, and richly colored pastels by Megan Veldee. Come see new glasswork, jewelry, and custom tables.

1010 5th Street, The Studios Above Scott Milo Gallery
Four studios above Scott Milo Gallery are open and include Anders Rodin, Cathy Schoenberg, Michael Clough and Elizabeth Ockwell. Climb the stairs and see exciting oils, watercolors and drawings and sculptures.

801 5th Street, Croatian Cultural Center (5th & R)
“Pictures That Matter” by AHS Advanced Photography Students showing Friday 6-8pm and Saturday 10-4pm.
