Join us for an Anacortes Coastal Christmas! Friends and families stroll through our illuminated downtown, gather around the Coastal Christmas Tree, and join together to sing carols. With music, events, and festive cheer, Anacortes shines brightly all month long.
With dozens of local activities throughout the season, there is something for everyone. The holiday season is a magical time to visit, with the town lit up for the winter nights, amazing offers on local hotels and bed & breakfasts, and warm inviting eateries to welcome you in from your brisk hikes in local parks or strolls down Commercial Avenue.

The Nutcracker Holiday Gift Show is gearing up for another great show in 2021. As in past years, we will have a variety of local vendors to buy handmade gifts from just in time for the Holidays! In 2021 we are returning to the Depot Arts Center on “R” Avenue in Anacortes, but we will keep some of the changes from last year like curbside service and opportunities for private shopping sessions. Keep an eye on our Facebook page, and Instagram page to stay up to date as we get closer to our 2021 show!

Come to the Wa Walton Event Center on November 27 for An Elvis Family Christmas! Enjoy all the classic Christmas tunes, performed by award-winning Elvis impersonator Danny Vernon.

Jingle all the way down to the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce for the Coastal Christmas Tree Lighting, live music, hot cocoa, and Santa Claus!

Come enjoy a hot breakfast with your family and friends. Santa will be on-site for visits and photos. There will be made and take crafts and festive holiday entertainment for you to enjoy while you eat your breakfast. $8 per ticket. The fee includes breakfast, a photo, and a take-home craft. Join us for a parade featuring community groups and of course, Santa Claus! The parade begins at 3rd Street and Commercial and will journey throughout downtown ending on 10th Street.
December 10-11, 5pm-8pm, at Washington Park
Come enjoy the spirit of the holidays at the Wonderland Walk at Washington Park. The campground will be decorated with holiday cheer by local groups and organizations, and there will be live music, campfires, and hot chocolate. We recommend you bring a flashlight to guide yourself through the event.

Join AAUW-Anacortes for the Jingle Bell Dash 5k/10k Run/Walk and Kids Dash to Santa, and help raise money for AAUW STEM programs for girls in our community.
AAUW-Anacortes sponsors STEM programs for girls at Anacortes Middle School and Anacortes High School. Nominated by teachers and counselors, programs include Tech Trek for 7th graders, science and math achievement awards for 8th graders, and scholarships for seniors in Math, Science, and Technology. This event is being established in an effort to develop sustainable funding for our programs, as well as create a fun community event and develop more community awareness of AAUW and what we do.
Additionally, the Kids Dash to Santa will raise non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army food bank in Anacortes.
